2010 Severe Monsoon Flooding in Pakistan

Severe monsoon rains across the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan regions caused significant flooding along the Indus River. As a result, nearly one-fifth of Pakistan's total land area—approximately 796,095 square kilometers—was submerged under water.
